Amanda Seward
Amanda is an entertainment lawyer in private practice. Her entertainment practice includes independent film finance on films such as Stephen King’s DOLAN’S CADILLAC and an HBO Premiere, SAY NOTHING, as well as production counsel to television shows such as THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY.
Amanda formerly served as Senior Vice President, Business and Operations at Warner Bros. Feature Animation. During her tenure, the division produced such hits as SPACE JAM, OSMOSIS JONES, QUEST FOR CAMELOT and the critically acclaimed IRON GIANT. Prior to joining Warner Bros., she served as Vice President, Classic Characters with Hanna-Barbera, Inc. and as Assistant General Counsel for CNN International in London.
She is an adjunct faculty member at Southwestern School of Law, where she teaches Entertainment Law, and a former president of the Los Angeles Copyright Society. She received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and received her B.A. in philosophy from Spelman College.
