John Richert
John joined Lehman Brothers in 2001, and is currently the Head of Barclays Capital Southeast Investment Banking Group. He is responsible for regional banking coverage of middle-market public and private companies located in the Southeast. Prior to this role, John was in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group within the Investment Banking Division where he was responsible for executing all aspects of M&A advisory as well as debt and equity assignments for strategic companies in several industries.
Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, John was a Vice President and Regional Manager in Hong Kong for Bank of America, N.A. where he was responsible for establishing and managing the non-recourse export receivables and off-balance sheet financing group for Fortune 1000 and middle market clients. He has also served as a Credit Analyst with Nations Bank N.A.
John received his B.S. in Economics and French from Washington and Lee University where he was a member of the Economic Honor Society, and his MBA from the University of North Carolina, Graduate Business School where he was a member of the Dean’’s List and a University Scholar.
